Our company operates a Health & Safety management system that is accredited under OHSAS 18001 and is externally audited on our behalf regularly by BSI. It means our safety performance is constantly being refined and upgraded. This management system covers all aspects of our operations from general safe operating methods through to specific complex contract planning where required.
As part of it, we carry out a thorough risk assessment before work commences on any site. This ensures that all workforces involved remain compliant with all aspects of relevant legislation, such as working at height – therefore avoiding any unnecessary delays should a Health & Safety Executive (HSE) inspector identify any issues during their regular visits to site.
All our workforce receive comprehensive and on-going safety refresher training. They work in compliance with our published Safe Working Procedures, which provide detailed information on the required work tasks we have developed through realistic working experience in typical building site conditions. Actual performance is monitored against agreed standards to make sure a continuing high standard is maintained.
We only use the most modern plant equipment available for our work and all our people are equipped with appropriate Personal Protective Equipment to ensure their wellbeing.
All our site management staff hold a Site Manager Safety Training Certificate issued by CITB and are fully conversant with the required safety legislation. They will be happy to advise you on necessary requirements for any individual project.
